Fixed Star Capital (“we”) respects the privacy of business owners, brokers and anyone else who visits this site or writes to us. This page explains, in plain terms, what we collect and how we use it.
This website
This site has no forms, no accounts and no advertising trackers, and we do not set cookies. Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and font provider (Google Fonts) receive basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the pages. We may look at aggregate traffic statistics, but we do not try to identify individual visitors.
When you email us
If you contact us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to send, such as information about a business. We use it only to respond to you, to evaluate a potential transaction and to keep a record of our conversations.
- We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not add you to marketing lists.
- Our email runs on Google Workspace. We also use AI tools to help sort incoming messages and prepare replies; those providers process message content only to provide that service to us.
- Information shared under a confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement is handled according to that agreement.
- We may share information with our own lenders, attorneys and accountants when it’s needed to evaluate or complete a transaction, and they are expected to keep it confidential.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we need to keep it for a legal or contractual reason. Email xavier@fixedstarcapital.com.
